Hi, I’m Iggy

So I figure I should introduce myself before I start posting daily (hopefully). My real name is Ignacio but everyone calls me Iggy, I’ve been reading TheOffside for a little less than a year and I’ve been supporting Barcelona ever since Rijkaard started coaching in the 2003-2004 season. I’m about to start my sophomore year of college and I realize that the shoes I have to fill are pretty big…so I came prepared with big socks.

What you can look forward to in this blog: Game Previews the day before the game, Game LiveBlogs, Postgame wrapup/musings the day after (to let cooler heads prevail), a few Caption This photographs and other bits of nonsense that happen to tickle my fancy.

It’s an honor to be here, and I hope you like it
