Just in case you were wondering, Isaiah, I’m the person who voted for Lyon to advance in your liveblog poll. Just to, you know, balance things out a bit.

Pique was Great on Defense.
Henry was Great on Attack. But man, our Midfield Kicked alot of ass. Everyone did their job awesomely. Toure shut down their mid, Juninho didnt exist. Iniesta wreaked havok with his runs, forcing Lyon to foul. (that WAS a penalty at the end!), Xavi did his usual Xavi thing, dictate the match, pull the strings. Throughballs. Messi kept grabbing the ball, and swinging into the middle, causing the backline to constantly have to adjust. and what i liked the most is that They all defended. Iniesta and Xavi constantly ran back to defend. Messi and Henry had a couple of long sprints to win back balls.
Pique had a great run/ throughball, that Henry kinda shot at the keeper, and how awesome was the Kaiser’s lob to TH14 for the opening goal. Or Messi’s run for his.
great team display. MOTM: The team!, just because everyone’s great work was dependent on everyone else’s. There was really not one playthat was all individual play, not even Messi’s goal.
forget those formalities, feels good to move on, and feels good to win, and not only win, but to Smash 5 past a good (decent?) team again.
Im sure if Puyol and Abidal were there, we would not have conceded 3 goals in the series!

I know this is a great time to be a barca fan, BUT remeber the game against betis, espanyol, lisbon, atletico? We let all those teams get back in the game when we should have sealed the deal. This absoultely has to be sorted out. How can we let a team back in the game after being 4-0 up at home? Just think, if benzama had scored that sitter with 10 mins to go we could have dropped this.

I like both Arsenal and Roma, but I was rooting for Roma because the fewer EPL teams still in it, the better. Maybe they’ll draw each other and we’ll all be spared the boredom.

I’d like to see Arsenal take out Liverpool and ManU take out Chelsea…

Terrible header from Ibra just absolutely terrible. In front of goal, alone, but he heads it to the floor and it flies up to hit the bar.
How sad. I really thought Inter could tie and go on to the quarters.

And a great volley by Adriano that hit the post. I love him he’s so great but he really screwed himself over with his attitude and habits.

6-3 isn’t good enough. we’re exposing some SERIOUS weaknesses from set pieces. Pep needs to drill them every single practice with nothing but free kicks and corners. in particular the marking in the box is simply unacceptable for this level of squad.

6-3 isn’t good enough? Uhhh….
CRAZY! I left to go to class after Messi scored his goal…then learned that two more goals were scored BY THE HALFTIME WHISTLE! And then two in the second half…one by Keita?!? Damn, what I saw was absolutely scintillating. I feel like if we were bad at set pieces today–in the second half, I presume–it was because of the euphoria of the first half, because I saw nothing too dramatically bad in that area in the first half. And if that’s the case, I’m totally okay with that. W.

By the way…I haven’t seen the goals from Lyon but it sounds like they came from set plays…if that was the case, didn’t Isaiah point out once that Lyon are a team that scored almost half its goals in Ligue and French Cup from set plays? Whatever happened in the second half, I’m cool. The half that I saw was the half of a team that will not get beat in Liga and one that teams will have to fight tooth and nail to beat in CL.
NOW I’m talking double. Momentum has returned.

WOOOOOOOOOW! what a match. Thrilling indeed! Except for the 3 lapses in concentration. We were awsome. I cant believe in the second goal 3 of our players had a chance to clear but all we unable to. I’m very happy. Now lets win this weekend.who do we play again.
I hope we draw chelsea or MAnU next.
By the way i was able to put (antena 3)and espn2 and ESPN Star on my iphone. Now i need gol tv or TV3.

Well i want us to either draw Man U or Bayern but i also want us to eliminate any English team so ti doesn’t matter which 1 but Arsenal will be nice..Let Henry play his old team and let Fabergas see his boyhood club he should join back.
