So during the Espanyol match, Cantalejo red-carded one of theirs for a sketchy foul on Busquets, and awarded Eto’o the last-second, “tripped over a blade of grass” penalty. Now to be sure in real time, from the angle he had, it was a stone-cold penalty. T’was only on replay that you could see the reality.

nice one Isiah, I remember him coz i think he was the only spanish ref at the 2006 world cup, and he was bad pretty bad, can’t remember the games which he took charge of though….

i know we all dont take goal.com very seriously, but…

making this week’s “La Liga Team of The Week” was none other than Barcelona’s Gerard Pique! (no Marquez, Xavi, or Toure) But incidentally enough Sevilla’s Adriano made it!

are you effing kidding me? any minute shred of soccer cred that place had just went out the window.

(a little of topic, but the english language is horrible! i especially hate Heteronyms!!! [read, bass, etc] I had to second guess myself on how to spell “minute” (very small) because its spelled the same way as “minute” (60 seconds), and not pronounced the same way. Even as a native speaker, i must admit this language is an atrocity.) I do not envy your job Kxevin.
