I missed it.
By: Iggy | September 22nd, 2009Well I missed the midweek game because I had class and an exam, but that shouldn’t stop us from discussing it.
So, what did you think? From the scoreline it seems like we played pretty well, but the scoreline only says so much.
I’ll get the weekend game though.

Hi Iggy,
I’ve noticed how badly you need a backup writer. I currently work from home, which means incredible amounts of free time to write and watch Barca games. Also, my majors in college were Comp. Lit. and Spanish, and I was raised in Bogota, Colombia. I’m an avid writer, and I’d love to help out with the blog.Posted from

Astounding (as usual). 66% of ball possession, 3-minutes toque sequences, unbelievable goals.

Barca dominated the whole match. Hands down!

I watched the game. The first half was ridiculously one-sided. 74% possession. 3 goals in 7 minutes. The second half was more even, but by that I mean Barcelona only dominated in a non-superhuman way. Messi didn’t even break a sweat by the time he came off in the 60th minute.

We have a review up:

I understand, Iggy. Isaiah brought me on because it was getting to be a bit much. But you have to keep the home fires burning, man. After a bit, you settle into a routine, and before you know it, you’re up and rolling.
The match was pretty spectacular, as the Ibra and Messi show. The former’s back heel assist to Pique while surrounded by 5 defenders, was all over ESPN’s SportsCenter this morning, and well it should have been.
Messi’s two goals were absurd, particularly the first one, where the shot came off of a stride, bringing new meaning to the phrase run-and-shoot. And it was a great team effort (Marquez’ horrid gaffe notwithstanding), unlike the Atletico match.
And boy, could I get used to seeing matches in HD.

Mario, I don’t go to your blog and rag on it, I’d appreciate it if you didn’t come here and rag on what I’m trying to do. and the last thing I want is a flame war, so lets just be civil, sound good?

Nicely done, Iggy. I think that sometimes the line of demarcation between message boards (generally more unruly) and blog comments spaces gets blurred.

I found this article quite interesting. I didn’t realize the percentages were so high with customers experiencing online transaction problems. This article is a useful tool for companies to realize their problems, because people are talking about it and what improvements they can make to make their online transactions more user friendly.
