Ray Hudson is probably glad he wasn’t commentating that match.

I seriously think that one dude is dead.
I love how when Iniesta scores, one goes “GOL GOL GOL GOL!” while the other can’t even bring himself to say that and just goes “AGHHHHH!!!!! AGGGGGHHHHHHHH!!!!!!”, just pure old fashioned screaming. Then the screamer composes himself while the other guy just rambles on incoherently.
“God exists and he roots for Barca!”

When Iniesta scored, my barstool flew back and hit somebody.
HE. DIDNT. CARE. He was jumping up screaming too!
I didnt more than ten words during the first 90 minutes, yet i left the bar having lost my voice. There was one chelsea fan in there who, curiously enough, didnt start bitching out allegations of bribery til after Barca scored.
I was barely comming to term’s with Essien’s goal when we scored. I’m still not entirely convinced that he scored that. If Essien gets credited for the goal, Jesus Christ must at least get credited with an assist, because like the ESPN commentator said; “if he hits that ball the same way 99 more times, he doesn’t score on any of them”

Hiddink’s formation against a 10 man Barca:
Man…. pretty hard to get through THAT particular triple decker bus. This was old fashioned catennaccio. If you lose the ball, EVERYBODY run back and pack it in. When in doubt, boot it back. The genius was the formation. He knew that a 5 man backline was a MUST. Three men packing the center and closing the gaps so that no throughballs went through. We REALLY have to polish our long range shooting.
Drogba/Anelka (up top as lone striker)
Malouda Ballack Lampard Anelka/Beletti
Cole Alex Essien Terry Boswinga

For those interested, my thoughts on the miracle at Stamford Bridge:

i agree Jason that [Essien] goal was sooo awesome that my stream went out just after he scored, it was a f****ng bullet.
Anyways, i hate hate hate hate ranters and accusations, i know it sucks to see your team loose but hell i bet EACH TOP TEAM have had “stolen” games… so don’t blame on teams blame the rules or ref or something.
One thing that i admire the most is player’s personality and sportsmanship; i used to hate John Terry because of his dirty plays but i read in the Chelsea blog that Terry went to Barca’s dressing room and congratulate Pep and the players for the victory. Pep gave thanks to him and called him a gentlemen.
^ I think these values are far better than ranting and calling shit.Posted from

Iniesta after the game:
“This is one of the happiest moments of my life. I can’t even dream of a goal like that. If I had attempted it on any other day, the ball would have sailed into the stands,”
“I struck it with all my soul and it went in perfectly. After I took the shot, I didn’t even look at the goal until the ball entered the net. And after that, I was just overcome with incredible happiness,”
“We did a spectacular job playing with a man less and especially after being kicked a lot and going through a tough fight,”
“We deserve this because of our work and because of the season we are having. When you put in the effort, as we did in London, the rewards are obtained. This goes for all Barcelonismo.”
————————————
By the way, if anyone has links to Iniesta’s, or any of Barca’s post match comments, i would LOVE the links. Preferably in spanish. (yeah, i’m looking at you Hector. I know you gots the goods…)

Define IRONY: Barcelona, the so-called “Dream Team” in the history of Football known for slaughtering teams by 10:0 or more and playing “Beautiful Football”, crowned 2009 CL Champions League many months before May,incapable of beating the 3rd seeded EPL team, resort to ways only nature to criminals and crooks and pay the UEFA and the referee a whopping 1 billion dollars, just so they can earn a spot in the CL Finals.
Barcelona believed they had a divine right to Rome, and were willing to disgrace themselves, and sully their honor and character in their best season ever just to achieve their ends.
I am appaled! At a point in this season, I started to believe in the Greatness of Barcelona, and respected them even in their infatuated meanness and arrogance.
Barcelona even if you win the CL Trophy on May 27th, No one but your intoxicated fans will be proud of their achievements. I am no longer convinced at your “greatness”. You beat Lyon, and Lyon is not even in the top 3 standings in France. You slaughtered Bayern, a club thats is not at the top of their league. You beat Real Madrid, a team that Liverpool vaporized. The Liga is a soft league, and your claims of being the Greatest Club in the Universe @ the present time was nullified by your performance against Chelsea. You have bought your way to the finals by prostituting yourself, and along the way you have lost everything that matters that is Victory through Respect and Honor, unequivocally. I am sickened and Barca fans sicken me.
For years to come, your victory will be looked down upon with disdain. This is not the Barcelona I knew. You and Juventus are in the same league:Cheaters!
Now Be Proud of that and Let me know when May Ends.Posted from

@ Chelsea:
Did the referee score for Barcelona, or was it Andres Iniesta? I could have sworn it was Iniesta. (and before you accuse us, YES! i admit it, we DID pay Iniesta!)
BTW, you should be mad at Chelsea, for not trying harder, at least we tried.
oh, we dont give a shit about you barely being 3rd place in the league. Play better soccer and stop bitching. the EPL is not better than La liga. Maybe the EPL top 4 are better than Sevilla, Valencia, Madrid and Villareal, but everyone else in your league sucks. Whats the last time any team outside your top four did anything? UEfa? oh good job Middlesborough. made it to the final and got torn to shreds by Sevilla.
4 teams dont define a league.
Good day sir.

YAY! WE WIN!!!
Holy crap I’m so excited I don’t even care about “Chelsea’s” blah blah blah above! This is amazing.

To be perfectly honest, I think Alves not playing the final will be completely ok. Offensively, he hasn’t been the force he was in the beginning of the season. Defensively, he’s a walking foul/yellow card.
The CB situation is more worrying, but I continue to believe Caceres can do an ok job. I hope Pep gives him some games in the next three weeks so he can get a rhythm. Team for final:
——Valdes—–
Puyol–God–Caceres–Sylvinho
–Xavi—Yaya—Other God
Third God–Eto’o–Henry

For all Chelsea players’ shenanigans, we also had a red card in the 66th min that was completely wrong!
