haha mallorca has the pleasure of saying they did a double by beating barcelona and real madrid. except when they played us we had a field of bbs, real madrid have given up since the clasico which is not a nice thing to do to their supporters…

A funny thing is that considering our run of poor results lately, they could have pushed the Liga until maybe this game and at least spoiled our CL chances by forcing us to further exhaust our starters had they kept playing hard but instead they just shut off.
BTW I caught the second half of that Mallorca-RM game and Cleber Santana, who BTW also scored a goal (a headed golazo off a corner or free kick) against us, scored a Messianic goal. Absolutely awesome run and strike. Not bad for a defensive mid and one who dominated the game too. Good for him (and Atletico Madrid who are his rumored suitors for next season.

Good comments everyone, but I think we’re all terribly underestimating (in over 300 comments?) this loss against Osasuna. Bring out our A-side, we’re better than anyone in the world…leave them out, Osasuna can beat us and look pretty good doing so. What does that say except we lack real depth? Remember how healthy we’ve been this year, the recent Henry/Iniesta/Marquez injuries aside…

The B-side very nearly beat Mallorca (should have except Eto’o was in the team) and it was close against Osasuna.
Considering that there were a bunch of 21 year olds in the team, a few whom barely debuted and a bunch of have played fewer than 5 games this season, that’s really damn good.
And the only goal conceded was in a set piece, which even the first team would have allowed.
So I am not worried at all.
