Victor Vazquez: Awesome Dancer

By: Isaiah | December 10th, 2008

Even in the middle of games where he’s trying to prove his worth, Victor Vazquez has time to walk like an Egyptian:

Still, it’s better than reverse-self-pantsing yourself. Pique, you’ll note, is embarrassed by his good friend’s behavior:

Is that one of those crazy acts of self-flagellation like that wacko wannabe-priest in the movie version of the Da Vinci Code?

That Bojan picture is QUITE disturbing.

The reason Victor Vazquez is awesome is because he is currently dating one of Hristo Stoichkov’a daughters. Anybody who remembers what a crazy mofo Stoichkov was back in the day can appreciate the cojones required to do this. Its not on the Kun Aguero impregnating God’s/Maradona’s daughter level, but its gutsy.

BTW the Aguero kid’s name is going to be, due to Kun’s own middle name and friendship with Messi, Diego Lionel Aguero Maradona. I kid you not. Messi will also reportedly be the godfather. For his sake, I hope he moves from Argentina and never plays football. Unhappiest kid EVER.

we should buy aguero like the rumours suggest, not neccessaily to play him but just so we can sign his child up to play for the barca under 1 year old and so he can move through the system. man this is a whole new kind of training academy, talk about getting players when they are young. we are so determined to create he best that we are designing children??

on a note about hudson and schoen. i dont think schoen is nearly as bad as hudson but i am not saying he is good. there seem to be three commentary teams for goltv and the third one i think is really good. i think they called the sevilla game.

the thing i cant stand about hudson is just that his loyalties to madrid get in the way of being an objective commentator and that whole business with the offside against hleb in the valencia game was just absurd, i mean who didnt think that there HAD to have been a deflection or the ref would have been fired on the spot? for the commentators not to see that is incredibly naive or for them not even to wonder if that happened.

speaking of tommy smythe, he is actually not a bad commentator because he knows his stuff, the thing i cant handle is his constant talk of the ol’ onion bag.

i agree that the spanish commentators are much more fun but it would be nice to have a mix of information when not much is happeneing combined with better commentating when something is.

hudson and schoen cannot tell players apart a lot, like calling xavi hleb, or their inability to tell the difference between yaya, abidal and henry.

Wow, my respect for VicVazquez just went through the roof…Hristo’s baby girl!? Holy mother of Satan that’s a risky move.

And yeah, that Diego-Kun-Leo superchild should just give up while he’s ahead.

Here’s the Stoichkov/Vazquez link if anybody reads a little Spanish and is interested. First heading. Also says Hristo watched the game in person.

Agh, C’mon Andrew, Ray always goes for the winning teams hence his Madrid love the last few years. He’s given Barca love when they deserve it. I’m willing to risk his occasional gross mistake for some of his gems. Although, remembering how much he loved the Juande Ramos Sevilla teams maybe Juande in RM finally sends him over the top. At least he’s up front about his biases and straight up admits them unlike ol’ Tommy when an EPL team plays any non-EPL team. Anybody remember him when GolTV did the South American WC qualifiers? His crush on Riquelme was downright disturbing but awesome at once.

“I will always hate Madrid. There is just something about them that gets up my nose. I would rather the ground opened up and swallowed me than accept a job with them. In fact, I do not like speaking about them because it makes me want to vomit.”
    Hristo Stoichkov

boy i miss Stoickov…bring him back

we shouldn’t have sold Ronaldinho last year, we should have just hired Stoichkov to follow him around and enforce new training techniques. i’d bet nothing whips a lazy person into shape better than a crazy Bulgarian breathing down their neck and chuntering on about club loyalty and how if he was allowed on the field he would crush Raul’s genitals into a pulp.

and you guys take Ray-Ray too seriously. just relax a bit and let him say goofy things. i’d much rather have his obvious enthusiasm for whoever is playing good than English commentators comparing every play they’re calling to that made by Dennis Broadchest of East Bromwichshire United in the Hillsbrookmere Derby last weekend or spending 30 minutes talking about Cristiano Ronaldo.

Are you talking trash about East Bromwichshiretonville United? Dennis Broadchest is the greatest footballer since his father, Winston Dunham Broadchest (yes, related to Bartholomew Dunham)!

I’ll have you put in the stocks, scalawag!

    The EPL sucks.
