Keep the optimism, fahmibustaman. We did pretty well with a makeshift lineup. Only a great keeper performance got us a draw. We’ll be fine. This seems to be a championship that nobody wants to win, but somebody has to, at some point. Why not us?

I retract my previous statement… Milito is not a better central defender and Sylvinho is left back. Milito has had another stinker. The first booking was a ball he couldnt win and the second he could have stayed on his feet.
So disappointing.
Eidur Gudjohnsen had a good game in midfield and Eto’o as usual guaranteed goals. Overall it was poor but considering the injuries, it was heading for a good result.
With 11 men it would have finished 1-2 Barca

I still think it’s time to stop making excuses. Injuries plague every team. Barcelona has so much talent in reserve that their second string players are dream players for most teams. They should be winning no matter who takes the field against the likes of Almeria.

Barcelona has the talent to win La Liga without Messi, but it’s just nicer to have him on the field. We can’t become one player dependent.

Also, Rijkaard has some responsibility in the injuries by over playing the best players. An additional effect is not giving playing time to players that will have to take the field when inevitable injuries arise. And boy it showed today.

Yup… thats how it is. I don’t want to comment on this. Everybody in this team played like rubbish. We can stop thinking about all the competitions starting from this point. Believe me, its true.

1. We going to lose to Valencia next week. Out COPA Del Rey.
2. We going to lose to Schalke a week after that.
3. We keep losing in every match remain in LA Liga.

Please god…. help this team.

That’s the Liga gone now. No way is this team going to win the remaining 10 games.

And I’m thinking now that Schalke may have been the luckiest team in the quarter-final draw of the Champs League. They should now be favorites to make the last four.

As for the betting companies that had Barca as second-favorites to win the Champs League — well, they deserve to lose their shirts.

I dont think this team is capable of playing beautiful football consistently with the injuries.
