And Our Next Champions League Rivals Are… AC Milan!

By: Ade C. | December 20th, 2012

I sat through the usual awfully boring ceremony -though, this time, it opened with Gianni Infantino saying “Tito, we are all with you” as our coach prepares to go into surgery- to bring you the results on live-time on Twitter and as soon as possible here.

The rival for FC Barcelona on the last 16 round of the 2012-2013 Champions League are AC Milan! And you know what that means? YES! IT MEANS BOJAN JOKES AGAIN! And, also, that we don’t have to rehash the Cesc Saga with Arsenal, or freeze important bits off at Donetsk. It wasn’t my preferred draw (I wanted Porto, because wine), but it’s not the worse either. Legendary team, historic stadium… Bojan.

AC Milan – Barça (at the San Siro): February 20
Barça – AC Milan (at the Camp Nou): March 12

So, what do you think? Are you happy about this draw? Will it be good for us, or awful? Share your opinions in the comments!

  • Ha ha, just thought of something funny. Wonder who will be the first one to go down. Lexus or Bojan. :)

Favorable draw.  Plus, Bojan!  Here's hoping that we can avoid natural disasters, and that our new illustrious leader is back on the bench, ready and raring to go.

    Happy Holidays, cules!

Don't like pitch in San Siro, but the current Milan is a mere shell of its former self.Might have to face some old fashioned Italian defence through the two legs, but hopefully we'll get through to the next round without too much drama.

Didn't we say the same thing last year? ;)
Lets just hope we find a way to break down their defence and we don't drag it out over the two legs again. Glad we didn't draw Shakhtar though...or Arsenal for that matter.
