wowowowow so except Ramos any barca starter is superior to Real’s? well what do you know…it turns out valdes is better than casillas, eto better than RVN and dont compare pepe to puyol.

Regarding the club’s managers…whether i agree or not with the three, they stick to football while angel face laporta uses the club as a political mean…thats simply sleazy.

Capello and Schuster each won their respective league titles and Calderon two out of two so far and with a 400 million surplus. Now you tell me what mr ezquerra has done in the last couple years besides signing a flamboyant coach who happens to be catalan lol he was probably on crank when he came up with that one

I was so frustrated watching this match. I was shocked at how they were playing. No chemistry. No passion (except El Capitan). And what a weak lineup. They should have at least put in alves over sylvinho. I am pissed off at the result and iniestas injury.

Hopefully they redeem themselves in Matchday 6 of CL and this weekend!

i have been doing some scouting of my own looking around at young players who could play up front on the left or more centrally (should henry and eto’o both leave) and these guys are what i found. the portuguese kid is the only out and out left wing but he is the business and he is tough and skilled. have a look at the videos, the nigerian kid is also going to have a bright future. i specifically went for younger players because they are cheaper and easier to mould intot he shape of a barca player before they become set in their ways.

i agree with jason that we will see a lot more of puyol on the left with pique getting a lot more play time. perhaps we can give caceres a couple of runs too.

as far as a left wing goes, i would rather play henry there than hleb. especially in these important games coming up purely because he has had a lot more time to gel with the rest of the team than hleb. i hope pedro doesnt play the big games, he doesnt have what it takes yet.

lots of teams are experiencing severe injury lists like sevilla, arsenal, juventus, chelsea, EE etc. so i agree we are lucky we only have the two out. hopefully milito is nearly fit. any idea on him anyone? when will he be back?

i think if we are going to spend any moeny during the january window it should be in investing in someone who is flexible on the left. not sure who though. arshavine always comes to mind but i dont think he would have made the grade with barca.

anyway i am just rambling

Hmmm, sucks about Abidal….although i think Caceres should get a few games at left back to see what he can do. I feel he will at the very least have more energy over 90 mins than Sylvinho. As for Iniesta, i feel that between Henry, Hleb, Bojan and Pedro we can do for 6-8 weeks without him. Yes he will be missed, but come on, we should not lose ANY game because of either of these injuries.

i think that the injuries happened to a coinciding area is gonna suck. essentially our left flank is gonna be very problematic. without iniesta to reak havok, the right back and right wing of the opposing team will be freed up to attack an abidal-less left flank…

i think capitan puyol will have to play on the left, and we’ll have to see just how endless alves’s endurance is. i think i also wanna see if caceres can make a good left-back… you never know…

i think these injuries came at just about the worst time they could have… even if they make miraculous comebacks, theres wstill that “post-injury” dip in form, that some players never shake. and i dont think i have to tell anyone here that both abidal and iniesta were enjoying great runs of form.

its too early to predict, but we should prepare for a period of time when we wont have one-goal leads at minute 3, and 5-0 goal lines. but instead we’ll watch us scrape by with the 1-0s and 2-1s.
