Barcelona 2007/08 Home, Away, and Keeper kits

By: Isaiah | June 25th, 2007

So I made a mistake (gasp, I know). I previously erroneously posted about the new Barcelona kit which had been published by Barcelona-based newspaper, El Mundo Deportivo in their online edition and for ever trusting a tabloid like that in the slightest, I apologize. I am humbled. Here, having already been linked in the comments to that embarrassing post by AJ, are the the official Home, Away, and Keeper kits for the 2007/08 season:

It is the 50th anniversary of Camp Nou, so the FCB emblem has “Camp Nou” above it and “1957-2007″ below it. Thanks to FCBarcelonaClan for spilling the real beans well before I spilled the fake ones.

I’m not sure I like the blue away kit, but it’s better than what I’d previously been seeing. The question is always the 3rd kit and hopefully that won’t look like what the aforementioned FCBClan has suggested. It’s a combo of what I posted about, actually. The issue would be when would you wear it since it looks basically like the away kit…so perhaps that’s not what it would look like.

What do you guys think about this new look?

Soccerlens has found a mockup of Real Madrid’s potential 2007/08 kit, which is an interesting if slight derivation of their all-white format at home and what I think is a truly hideous 3rd.

The should wear their home kit at home and on the road. What a beauty. The blue, not so much.

Shouldn’t be a problem to wear it on the road as well. The away kit is usually more of an alternative kit, right? E.g. if the other club happens to have jerseys too similar to Barcas home kit.

That 3rd kit’s style looks like Lyon’s home kit, except less classy.

I like the blue kit, actually.

Eww! The blue kit is ghastly. When was the last time ANY team in Europe won anything wearing light blue? It’s almost as bad as the beige number we had a few years ago.

Rupert: I hear you on the beige (3rd kit in 04-05). But at least we won the league that year.

I quite like it, actually. Not too sure about the away kit’s particular shade of blue, but we’ll have to see what it looks like in action first.

The keeper’s kit is awesome. But then, I love black jerseys.

Isaiah: apparently we’re keeping this season’s orange away kit to use as a 3rd kit.

Personally, I liked last year’s kits a lot better. The home kit is OK, but the away and 3rd kits are just hideous in my opinion. The also look almost exactly alike.

Love both kits actually!! and the goalkeeper one! They will all look so good on actual pitch, and for just normal wearing.

BTW, i liked the beige kit! it was more goldy and it looked class!! lol
