Evo Morales, president of Bolivia, has taken it upon himself to defy FIFA’s ban on playing games above 2,500m (8,202ft) by playing a game at an incredible 6,000m (19,685 ft)! Fantastic. I mean, really. The generally superb 101 Great Goals offered up their take on the matter a bit ago and I couldn’t agree more.
FIFA should represent everyone, not just the big countries. And anyway, what’s worse, playing at 3200m or in Barranquilla in 100 degree, 95% humidity heat? You decide which is more dangerous…
