PEP STOPS!

Thanks for everything

Thanks for everything

Pep Guardiola stepped down today. He’ll be replaced by Tito Vilanova.

For me, there isn’t anything else to say except 1) I’m sorry and 2) Thank you, Pep!

This is one way we'll remember him

This is one way we'll remember him

And this is another!

And this is another!

Thank you for everything, Pep...  like zillions of other Barca fans, i am also one of those who value the beautiful game more than sheer numbers , be it goals or trophies... and for that same reason he is one of the best coaches, if not the best, IMHO... yes, numbers speak for him too... but in the manner he carried himself and the Barca legacy even at the height of cheap and dirty antics of 'the-special-one-who-shouldn't-be-named' speaks volumes for the man he is... will miss you, man...  and all the very best wishes from a fan...

  • Feels like breaking-up with your partner for 4 years... moltes gràcies Pep!
Now I need to see my shrink.

  • Pep will go down in history as the best barca coach and one of the best coaches in the world. But I don't think we've seen the last of him. What would happen if Barca had a poor season next year and Pep started spreading the word he was looking for a job ?

Like any Barca fan, i wish Guardiola would have stayed on for at least another season, but at this point I understand why he would want a break. It's a tough job. A billion times thank you, Pep, for bringing about the most wonderful era yet in Barcelona's history, and for always being a gentleman and an inspiration. I wish you the best of luck in your future projects, and please never change the way you approach coaching; even as your football tactics and philosophy evolves, always stay classy. You're the best. Also, I think Tito being made coach is a very conservative choice, but probably the best one at this time. He doesn't seem to have the dynamism or verve of Pep, but he's a good man and has been a wonderful assistant coach. Good luck to Tito, you have the full support of this cule!
