Lord Almighty I love Ray Hudson. And now I wish I’d seen that Venezuela game, if only for the moment of absolute hysteria and love that statement would have produced in me. Wow.

Absolutly – just after Messi’s cracker against Venezuela, Hudson delved deep into his gunny sack of hyperbole, and fetched the above jewel. I wish Ray Hudson would serve as the commentator of my life.

Messi's goal last night was phenomenal. I don't know what Henry's goals were like (yet), so I can't comment on those, but remember that Ramos' goal was created by Xavi. Props, though, to that "guarro" as they used to call him in Spain. Maybe they still do. Don't remember? Here's a link, in Spanish.

A pretty couple goals from Henry today – especially the second. But neither were as pretty as that little chip by Sergio Ramos (yay!).
