Welcome to the Barcelona Offside Blog!
By: Isaiah | February 21st, 2007
Hello and welcome to barcelona.theoffside.com! This site is dedicated, of course, to coverage of FC Barcelona’s successes and failures in La Liga, la Copa del Rey, and the Champions League. Occasional commentary on the current state of footballing affairs throughout Spain will also be a part of what is discussed.
A brief history of FC Barcelona can be found at Wikipedia, in case you’d like to learn a little something about this illustrious Catalan institution.

Laurie, seems I spoke too soon ^_^
Welcome, Isaiah, I wish you luck in blogging for my favorite team!
It was probably not the best time to kick off a Barcelona blog, but it makes it all the more exciting, no?
Hablamos.

Just a couple of thoughts after watching match here in Hong Kong.
1) Barcelona staff should have kept their own council about the Liverpool return, the whole team would have have been motivated by their arrogant comments.
2) Great skills but no heart or workrate, the competition is the poorer without them but Liverpool never accept defeat.Posted from

visca Barca!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We have everything to look foward to now with the return of the great players like Eto and Ronaldino…..other teams will be taking note of this too.

With 13 more league matches still to play, there’s plenty of points still left for the liga to change hands (even in favour of such teams as Sevilla). I’ve noticed a terrific improvement in form in Barca and with the return of the great players, things can only get better. With other teams, they’ve presumably already hit best form, whatever that may be.
